RICK G
Ron, did you read the context of 1Tim 3, or Titus 1? I think not! The
qualifications of both elders and deacons EXCLUDED men like Borgia because
of his perversions and his blatant use of political power to rule like a lord over
"the faithful".
And that's not to mention Matthew 7:15, in which Jesus warns his disciples
about false prophets --the Pharisees of his day-- and how a good fruit cannot
come from a bad tree and vice versa. Do you really think that this excludes all
the those perverted and power hungry popes down through history. If so, then
Roman Catholics are even more gullible than I originally thought.
Are you THAT gullible??? Do you actually believe that Borgia didn't
KNOWINGLY misdirect "the faithful"??? Pleeease!!! Give us a break here, will
ya!!!
