>Well "No human testimony, written or spoken,
>is any more than opinion, as I've said repeatedly."
>That demonstrates that all you have to show
>me is opinion.
DICK
Yes. So? You have a point yet? All any human being has
to show is his opinion. So? You believe some human
beings can speak the infallible truth, do you?
BRIDEAN
Then I guess your credibility is only your opinion then.
>BRIDEAN
>In that case, the Bible lies when it gives the answer to
>"What must I do to be saved?". I will give you a hint,
>there IS a place in the Bible where someone directly
>asks Jesus this question. But as you said earlier,
>"No human testimony, written or spoken,
>is any more than opinion, as I've said repeatedly."
DICK
For the same reason He's going to resurrect all the
maggots and diphtheria bacteria and HIV viruses and
Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, because He loves
them, and He loves them because they are part of what
made Him what He is. He would not be the same God if
it were not for the slime along with the flowers. God
wants you to be the fool you are.
BRIDEAN
In that case, what use is it to call me a fool, or to engage in
teaching this list, if God wants us to be the way we are already?
>BRIDEAN
>Sure beats scoping out the local High [sic] School [sic].
DICK
Don't know. Since I gave up volunteering to give the
physicals for girls' sports I don't visit high schools
anymore.
BRIDEAN
I think that the above is sufficient to show that you have no credibility.
According to you, God wants us to be the way we are anyway, so I
see no point in continuing to listen to you.
