TILL No, I'm not willing to accept every person who claims or claimed to be an atheist to be my "representative." In the first place, this would be impossible, since atheists have conflicting views just as nonatheists do. That being true, how can I accept any and all of them as my representatives? However, I am willing to take their word for it when they claim to be atheists and accept the claim that they are atheists. It would be rather presumptuous of me to say, "You're not a real atheist." Nobody expects you to accept Hitler as your "representative." However, since he did make many statements that indicated a belief in God, why can't you accept that he at least claimed to be a theist?
