Anniversary

Today is my one year anniversary of being on errancy. When I xxxscribed I
was reasonable sure that the Bible was not inerrant, but still was prepared
to be convinced by good arguments that it was without error. Now, of
course, I am pretty much an atheist. I have thought about the many issues
that get raised on the group, posted many of my own questions, and also
written to or Emailed lots of evangelicals. I've also read lots of books.

I think that there are two reasons I am still on the list. Firstly, there's
still lots to learn. Secondly, I am intruiged by the reaction of
inerrantists who are confronted with clear evidence that they might be
wrong, sometimes for the first time. 

So without rambling on, my thanks to everyone on the list, especially
Farrell Till. And of course, a special thanks to all the inerrantists, many
of whom are no longer with us, but who, more than anyone else, showed me
that the Bible is full of errors.
