NANCY
Because Yoohoo was constantly involving himself in the daily lives of the
Israelis and demanded that they make these sacrifices to appease him. In
order to ensure success in their bloody conquests, they had to keep the law,
which included burnt offerings and other sacrifices that were pleasing to
their god. Just like the other religions of ancient times.
