Hi Ian,

I'm starting to feel popular, or at least noticed. 
Other matters are pressing in on me and I know I'm
not giving as complete answers as I should.  I will
try to do a better job tonight.  I am running out of
time.

I am against "literalism."  That is the belief of
fundamentalist and, as far as I can tell, atheist. 
Origen may have taught some strnage things, but he
learned that the Bible was more than a book of
literal narratives and instructions.  Augustine
picked up on that.  I will make a post later.
