Because I'm not interested in when Genesis was written. I am interested
only in what transpired or is alleged to have transpired at that time. 

 When I proposed this post, I stated that we will go through these books
 without jumping ahead to any FUTURE book,

So you wouldn't accept certain critics of the book of Mormon (for example)
who claim that Joseph Smith riped off storys that were current during his time?
You would only be interested in what the book of Mormon says happened
some 2000 or more years ago in the Americas?  In that scenerio, would
the criticism that the book of Mormon sounds a lot like a 19th century
story written by (...) be jumping ahead to some FUTURE book?
