<snip> TILL Well, I warned everybody that Dave was back. Claire left the list just before Dave rejoined, so now we have someone who can replace her with postings about what he thinks and what the Bible says (which I have snippped out of consideration to readers). Let's all hope that during his absence Dave at least learned what the fallacy of false analogy is. (DAVE 2/14) Farrell: Doug asked what a "demon" was (note that his post is for "all Christians" - obviously what the answerer "thinks" is appropriate to include in the response). I'm not sure exactly what a demon is myself, but tried to consider the concept fairly. However, since you are an English professor (retired), you know that "demon" is an actual word - it therefore must have a definition - I would be interested in your definition of "demon" in order to augment, or correct, what I have put forth. Thanks. Regards, Farrell. Dave "Reason's last step is the recognition that there are an infinite number of things which are beyond it." - Blaise Pascal
