2 Kings 2 (again)

Being new to the list, I am trying to figure out the "protocols" if 
you will. I would like to know if there are any other good examples 
of God's atrocities in the Bible. Surely these must be seen as 
contradictory to what the churches teach about God. Isn't this 
considered a form of errancy? Either the church is wrong, the Bible 
is errant, or both.

If anyone would like to discuss this more with me (as an opening 
dialogue for a new member) I would appreciate it.
