And Islam would not have developed if Mohamed didn't really THINK that
the angel Gabriel visited him. And Mormonism would not have developed if
Joseph Smith didn't really THINK that the angel Moroni visited him.
I will copy and paste your last sentence and replace "Resurrection" with
"angelic visits of Moroni and Gabriel" and "the Christian faith" with "the Islam
and Mormon faiths" and the last word "it" to "them" and I get:
You don't have to accept that the angelic visits of Moroni and Gabriel "really happened"
to understand that the Islam and Mormon faiths would not have
developed without them.
Does that really prove or say anything to you? If not then why should your
last sentence prove or say anything to me?
