I cannot promise to post mightily but we will
have to see what transpires.
I am not a Christian but I am interested in what
the Bible actually says.

I guess you are saying that the above causes you difficulties.
I suspect that much of it can be resolved.
Many problems can be sorted out just by carefully reading passages
in context. Shall we investigate further?
