Anyone want to take a stab at this?

You should enjoy reading "The Bones of Saint Peter", a book which
details the finding of the tomb of St. Peter directly below the altar of
St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Too bad these people are working with
limited resources. You should be able to find it in most libraries. Just
as with the archaeology conducted on the Holy Sepulcre in Jerusalem
"tradition" was found to be correct in spite of the contradictions of
"historians". For instance they said the Sepulchre was inside the walls
of Jerusalem contrary to Biblical accounts. But the "traditionalists"
apparently knew what the "scholars" didn't: That the walls had moved
with the expansion of the city's population. By the way when they found
the bones supposed to be those of Peter they were minus the skull.
Coincidentally (?) there is a Church in Rome which according to
"tradition" possesses the skull of St. Peter. Hmmmmmmmmm???
