DTS I'm not an atheist either, being much more a pantheist, but even that noun isn't perfect for me, but it would pay well to avoid the compelling pitfalls of Western thought, such as: 1) If God exists, then the Bible is true. (There is no reason other than acculturation to make that assumption.) 2) If God answers prayers, then God is the being described in the Bible, because the Bible god reportedly answers prayers. (Again, no reason to assume that.) 3) If the Bible does describe God accurately, then the Bible is an accurate account of God's history and biography, too. (Nothing unusual about works of fiction accurately describing real persons.) A lot of people are uncomfortable with the idea of a God that they cannot describe in detail. Not me. I find it much more honest and liberating. Keep looking; if there's nothing to be found, so be it; if there is, you'll find it taking the form best for you. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
