Seriously, this Judas thing was the topic of a lunch time discussion with
some of the "rollers" I work with. Two of the four of them were not even
AWARE of the two versions and spent a few minutes arguing with the other
two. After a short discussion, one of them came up with the brilliant
deduction that Judas had indeed hanged himself, but after hanging on the
tree for some time fell and burst open.
Damn near wet my pants laughing at that one. This seemed to be too much
for all of them to buy and they quickly steered the conversation away from
this topic.
