FALSE. The Coptic Church is part of the one and only Christian Church. It is now holding discussions with the Orthodox about reunification.

I claimed NOTHING, you fool who doesn't know what a claim is. I merely pointed at reality. There is only one Orthodox Church despite your lack of knowledge of the science of semantics and foolish arguments over the meanings of words. The Church is not defined by its bishop, of which there many, many more than ONE in the Greek and Russian Orthodox Churches. Merely as examples, there are Patriarchates of Georgia, Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria just in the Russian Orthodox Church, plus bishops of Cyprus, Athens, and Tirana, not to mention the main man, the Patriarch of Moscow. And you again display your basic ignorance of both Christianity and Reality not knowing Patriarchs, a big word you might up in a dictionary. A dictionary is a book with word meanings. It will have the word dictionary in its title but its title is not what makes it a dictionary. In Christianity, a subject Willis knows nothing about, there are five Patriarchs, Rome, Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople and Jerusalem. A patriarch exercises jurisdiction over and ordains metropolitans, bishops of lesser sees in his domains. The Council of Nicaea (325) recognized three bishops with such powers, those of Rome in the West and Alexandria and Antioch in the East, and the other two were added later. The Pope is still the Patriarch of the West.
