I thought that the Bible was the word of God? Although we know now
that Psalms are poetry, why would a perfect being allow entries to be
made without disclaimers or have passages written in a manner which
begs multiple interpretations? Certainly a perfect being could have
written and inspired text that could not be misinterpreted. And he
certainly could have found a scribe worthy of the task (after all, he
made every one of us.....so why didn't he make a person gifted in
writing clearly for all time?)
Also, what happened to the tenet that the Bible is literally true,
verbatim? >>>>>
Since I'm not a Christian, I'm hardly the one to ask.
But since you were dumb enough to ask, I'll tell you.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God. The perfect
Being saw that it was written in such a way that each
and every person would have to decide the truth for
himself. You lack any understanding of semantics or
language since all words without exception have
multiple meanings. Certainly a perfect Being could have
written the words in the sky in fiery letters a mile
high for all eternity but what would be the point? He
did make all existence, including fools such as you
who are mentally incapable of reading clear writing,
thus proving you deserve exactly what you get. The
Bible is literally true, verbatim, if you understand
the language, which you obviously cannot. You cannot
even comprehend the English word "literal" much less
dead Hebrew and Greek.
