Has anyone been following the brouhaha about the so-called Face on Mars?
For those of you who may not be aware, the Face was recently re-imaged by
the Mars Global Surveyor (just a few days ago in fact), proving once and
for all that the "face" that Viking photographed in 1976 was an optical
illusion caused by low camera resolution and the late afternoon Martian
sun.

Yes, on the ASTRO list I subscribe to we have been following it closely, 
we get up-to-date reports strait from NASA AND JPL. And I agree with what 
you have said.
