These things are evident to me too, but my question would be, have you ever
been challenged before to prove that they do? I doubt it, that is why you
never felt any obligation to prove anything.

Padro, I have to believe that you are able to see that your position in this
is illogical, but you are in a situation where you just can't afford to
admit it. If you admit that you and not atheists have the burden of proof
in the question of "God's" existence, that puts more pressure on you than
you care to accept

Am I, or are you in the same boat as I am. I think the later because no one
has ever demanded that you prove that God doesn't exist, therefore, you don't
know how.
