CREA Let me get this right -- you wish to say that "atheism is an easy out for those who do not wish to conform to Judeo-Christian (or Buddhist, etc.) morality", despite the fact that both Theravadin Buddhism and Jainism are quite overtly atheistic? From here it looks like you want to have your cake and eat it too. After all, if atheists are adverse to morality, they wouldn't be Theravadins or Jains either, since both these religions have quite well defined moral codes. But then, since Jains and Theravadins are atheists, they can't have morals. PARADOX ALERT! PARADOX ALERT! Sorry, Ron, but as Mr. Spock would say, this is not logical.
