Hi. The last time I wrote to this list-server was approximately
five months ago. I fail to comprehend why you spend so much time
"trying" to disprove the authenticity of the Bible. Has anyone
challenged your endless E-mail writings with the "Truth" that an
unbeliever can not comprehend God's Scripture?
Let me ring a bell:
Carnal mind can not be subjected to God's Law[Romans 8:7].
Point ~ If your mind can not be subjected to God's Law, then how do you
expect us[Of Course: ...Christians] to think you can discern what is right
and wrong with scripture?[?]
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean NOT unto thine own
understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy
paths[Proverbs 3:5-6].
Point ~ One of the wisest men who has ever lived commanded us to trust in
the Lord. Why not?[I am asking a question.]
The Glorious Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing[1
Corinthians 1:18].
Point ~ You have proven this scripture to be correct.
A person recieves the Holy Spirit and the Spirit begins to teach the
believer[John 14:26, 1 John 2:20, 1 John 2:27, etc].
Point ~ The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher[where all true
intrepretations originate] of the scriptures, so why do try to teach
yourself?[You must play the game fairly.]
The fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE[Don't
believe? Psalms 111:10, and Proverbs 1:7].
Point ~ If the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom,
then why should we listen to the "supposive" wisdom and knowledge of an
atheist?
Do not interpretations belong to God?[Genesis 40:8]
Point ~ This not a question to be answered, but an answer to a question.
The question being, "Who interprets?" In other words God interprets
scripture, dreams, etc. So why then do you try to interpret scripture when
interpretations belong to God?
Rather simple questions and points, but they good.
I have said something similiar to this before, when discussing the
relevancy of Farrel Till's interpretations to Messianic Prophecy.
Play by the 'RULE' S of the God's Game you will be successful.
Taste of the Lord and see if He is good.......
