>MATT
>Tell me I am mistaken in thinking you are saying above that because the
>Koran is the most read book in Muslim countries that it follows it is the
>most read book in the world? What would your estimation be of which was the
>most read in Britain or America between the Koran and the Bible?
ADNAN No, the Bible doesn't even come close here. Reading/reciting/memorizing the Quran is part of Muslim worship, and it is like this from the time of Muhammad. Is reading/reciting/memorizing the whole Bible part of Christian worship too? As far as I know the Bible was the property of church, and people weren't even allow to own a copy for many centuries. Beside, I read this "most read" claim in many statistics published by Muslim apologists.
>MATT
>All is says to me is that there is at least world faiths, whose 'holy book'
>is widely read. It proves nothing for either.
ADNAN Of course it proves nothing for either. So don't make foolish statements like the Bible is the best seller or Christianity is the biggest religion etc., etc., You might end up putting your foot in your mouth when a Musim comes with similar things such as Islam is the fastest growing religions, Quran is the most read book etc., etc.,. I have noticed that those Christians who are involved in any debate or discussion with Muslims for sometime, don't make statements like "the Bible is the best seller" since these Christians had to respond to Muslim's boasts that " the Islam is the fastest growing religion" so many times that they became wise enough to realize that such things proves nothing for either.
