Hi, how's it going?

Knowing the futility of replying to Anthony Woodcock, I submit this
response to all the closet lurkers who think (wrongly) that Woodcock makes
a good point.

I think there are only three sorts of falsehood in the world: blatant
lies, statistics, and analogies.
This analogy fails because a model of the universe does not have the
properties of a universe. One can see how the the analogy fails in
spectacular fashion by changing the wording only slightly:
"Once upon a time there was an atheist, a Christian, and a model of our
God. The Christian asked the atheist, "Who made the model there on
the table?" The atheist stated, "No one made it. It had always existed
on that table." The Christian was kind caught by the comment and said,
"No, really, who made the model?" The atheist insisted that no one had
made it. The Christian became angry and said, "Do you take me for a
fool? Who made the model? One can obviously tell that this God is very
intelligent and powerful, it is so complex that no man can completely
understand it, it knows all, creates all, and controls all, and has all
the marks of being an intricately designed God: certainly the designer
of this God is so wonderful as to create such a wonderous intelligence
and certainly deserves recognition". The atheist said, "How can you
believe the real God has always existed, but at the same time think it is
an insult on your intelligence when I say this simple model of God is
undesigned? Come on."
The point of this little exercise to show that if meagre intelligences
like ours require the design of an even more intelligent God, how much
more is God, being infinitely intelligent, in need of a designer Himself!
