I would also like to contribute this to Helen's excellent comment
regarding Paul and his misunderstanding of Deuteronomy.

Recently I have read a couple of books which deal with the difference
between Christianity and Judaism. One of them pointed out that Paul
totally misunderstood the curse of the law. The early Rabbi's declared
as cursed only those who reject the means by which atonement for sins
may be achieved. I.E., through the Torah.

Paul's interpretation might be in line with Christianity, but
certainly not with what the Hebrew Bible claims.

Christianity can be proved false simply because reading the Hebrew
Bible totally renders the New Testament as a total misunderstanding of
what it means to be Jewish, on almost every level.

Thanks, Greg.
