Hi Chris,
I'm enjoying your website and your debate with
"QuietSun" on the "worldview" issue. This URL
is your last email to that dude.

I think a better way to make a point in tearing down
the theistic attack on the alleged "atheistic worldview"
would be to attack the so called "Christian worldview"
by showing the philosophical differences in the plethora
of eschatological belief systems such as that found in
"amillennialism, pre-millennialism & post-millennialism."
Especially the later that finds it's new adherents in
"theonomy" of which Rushdooney and Gary North
spew forth. Post-millennialism has it's world view
setting it's agenda in "handing the keys of the kingdom"
when Christ returns. This eschatological worldview changes
a Christians view on everything from education, politics,
to modern day survival. To state in a more simplistic
way, theonomy desires to return to the God given laws
found in the Old Testament, and making them the law
of any land worldwide. The self destructing part of
philosophy is found when the Old Covenant contradicts
the New Covenant.
What makes this fun and interesting, is that more
Christian Calvinists are being sucked into this more
fatalist worldview, and yet, they are diligently working to
seek the changes by their own efforts (especially in the
political arena--of course with the help of God).
This world view stuff is simply nonsense! I'd let the divisions
within the theological disciplines found in the church, set the
charges for you in destroying a weak argument. Like I mentioned
in another post many days ago, "scripture divided against
itself cannot stand!" God's word is very unclear--that's why
the massive differences in theological paths walked by Christians
throughout the centuries have existed in the manner they have.
Anyway, just a suggestion.
