I think we just hit on one of the absurdities of Christianity, that people
who say a magic phrase, "I am born again through Jesus" are somehow better
people that those who don't. In fact, where some Christians are apparently
very nice people like David Court and Tyler, others including some we've had
on this list are positively evil and their Christianity is the expression and
perhaps, partly the cause of that evil. We've had Christian Reconstructions
on this list calling for the death by stoning of all homosexuals and
adulterer. There is an excellent web page on this particular disease at
http://www.serve.com/thibodex/cr/cr.htm. They, also, teach the south was the
moral side in the civil war and that the Holocaust didn't happen. The scary
thing is they sound half way intelligent. But most fundies would call
these vile creatures, "brother" and say most of us on this list are in the
grip of Satan. Tyler, you want CRs as brothers, you can have them!

Oh, he sounds pretty convincing to me. He's fairly lucid compared to some
of the Christians I've met. I've met real winners! And vicious and cruel!
And they all have had phoney Christian smiles on their faces and "praise
god" on their lips.

I snip a rather unpleasant rant by Magill.

Tyler
Listen folks, I'm a Christian and I am willing to say there is something
about this message that just isn't right. What is it about these posts he
makes that make them so unconvincing?
