Listen folks, I'm a Christian and I am willing to say there is something
about this message that just isn't right. What is it about these posts he
makes that make them so unconvincing?

Tyler and I first met on the apologetics-l list, which is maintained by a
Christian College in Florida. This was while errancy was off line. When it
returned, I didn't have time for both lists, so I had to unsubscribe from
apologetics. Tyler has just subscribed to errancy, so he missed the first
exchanges between Magill and me. This, of course, is to be understood only
as my perception of what has happened, but it appears to me that Magill
thought that he was going to score big when he first came onto the list.
However, when we presented logically delineated arguments and rebuttals of
his arguments, he quickly switched to a "preaching mode," which he seems to
think is going to convince us even though he has been unable to post
sensible responses to our arguments. I suspect that he is a source of
considerable embarrassment to the Christians on the list as was Tony
Woodcock, who seems to have flown the coop. Magill is probably flapping his
wings already.
