I have discovered that creationists don't WANT to read the facts for
evolution. Unlike us, who are willing to (and do) read creationist
literature, they are scared of the facts. So they use the same tired old
straw men their creationist gurus give them, don't understand the answers
anyway (because they don't know enough biology or other scientific
disciplines - or any, for that matter), then walk away from the argument
satisfied that creation nonsense is still the answer.
I long for the day when a creationist is willing to read serious literature
on the subject, study up on the biology (and paleontology, and geology, and
whatever - I'm a biologist, so my bias is showing), knows as much about
evolution as I know of creation, and ONLY THEN is willing to argue with me
on the subject!
