He is supposed to unite the Jews, turn them towards Judaism, return all
Jews to Israel, set up a Jewish theocracy in Israel. (According to some)
restore the disgusting temple worship. He is supposed to make the Jews a
light to all nations. He is supposed to restore the Davidic dynasty. He is
supposed to make Israel a mighty nation "again" (it never was) and destroy
the enemies of the Jews.
(DAVE 6/23) Yoel: Thanks Yoel - is there some common belief among the Jews
as to how the Messiah will accomplish all these things? Or is that not part
of the concept?
