I wouldn't say you're insane at all, Jeff. You're just caught up in a
psychophysical enthusiasm which you interpret as Xianity because it is in
such circumstances that you got into it.

Right now you're feeling on top of the world and believe you are in the
grip of something eternal. It is a condition that millions of people have
gone through over the centuries. The feelings are very similar but the
explanations depend on what religion got you into it. It was well known in
ancient Greece and Rome, India, Tibet, China and Japan. North American
natives also practised it.

You will reject what I say, Jeff, because you are totally overwhelmed with
what you call the Holy Spirit. But someday you will calm down and, I hope,
return to the real world a wiser young man than you are today. You have had
a profound experience, Jeff, but you have more to learn. Try to keep both
feet on the ground, keep walking, and ask lots of questions. Eventually,
you will discover that the answer was right in front of your face all the
time. I know this sounds mysterious and maybe threatening, but millions
have walked this path before you.
