JFK as the Antichrist?

Not strictly an errancy question, but here goes.

One of my well-meaning Christian antagonists sent me a book that he had
written (and apparently published) on the subject of endtimes prophecy. The
book is called "The Open Door", and it advances the position that the
Antichrist is (wait for it) our old friend JFK. Apparently, JFK was merely
severely injured by the bullet(s) in his brain, not killed, and is waiting
in the wings to take his role as the ruler of the world.

I think the theory itself needs little comment (aside from a few subdued
chuckles), but my question is this: Has, or was, JFK ever seriously been
considered for the role of Antichrist, or is my friend's silly book simply
the result of an addlepated mind? Have any other prophecy writers of any
stature referred to this theory at all? (It would be somewhat ironic, since
the non-Christian interpretation of Revelations holds that the 'Beast' that
John was referring to was none other Nero, who had died from a wound to the
head. After his death, there arose a rumour that he had survived his
assasination attempt, and was building an army in Parthia to take over Rome).

On a related note, did anyone catch the piece on prophecy on the A&E network
this afternoon? It was pretty good, including some comments on Isaiah by
James Randi himself.

On yet another related note, I have just completed a short piece on the
Documentary Hypothesis at http://www.primenet.com/~heuvelc/bible/intro.htm.
It still lacks something, so I would appreciate some critical comments.

Ta,
Curt
