And they removed from KADESH (1), and pitched in MOUNT
HOR (2), in the edge of the land of Edom. And Aaron the priest
went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD,
AND DIED THERE... And they departed from mount Hor, and
pitched in ZALMONAH (3). And they departed from Zalmonah,
and pitched in PUNON (4). --Num. 33:37-42.
Thus the itinerary, according to these verses goes:
1) KADESH
2) MOUNT HOR
3) ZALMONAH
4) PUNON
VERSUS
And the children of Israel took their journey from BEEROTH
(1) of the children of Jaakan to MOSERA (2): THERE AARON
DIED, and there he was buried, and Eleazar his son ministered
in the priest's office in his stead. From thence they journeyed
unto GUDGODAH (3); and from Gudgodah to JOTBATH (4)...
--Deut. 10:6,7
Thus the itinerary according to these verses goes:
1) BEEROTH (there is no separate "Jaakan" stop over in the
verse silly boy)
2) MOSERA
3) GUDGODAH
4) JOTBATH
Here is a response I received today. This fellow is struggling to
communicate and he has been a little less than honest with me so
I am not interested in investing time with him. I include the
following mostly for humor value. Sort of a reminder that the
majority of inerrantists in the US have not obtained a high
school diploma. What we normally get on errancy-l must be the
cream of the crop, which is pretty sad too.
JEW4JESUS1@aol has provided this "solution" to the above
problem. All errors are his, this is cut and paste (I narrowed
some of the columns):

Let me make this as easy as I can.Do you where Florida is(its
down south)so if I said I went from Cal.to kansaS to florida and
there aaron died in one letter and in the other i said
I went from alabama to gerogia,to tampa and there aaron died.
would it take a brain sergun to see tampa and florida is in the
same place.now i mentioned different cities in each but both
staements are true.niether statement was a lie.i went through
kansa,and alabama,and cal.but i just did not mention them
all.but can you see what i am saying.if this is to difficult for you
write me back and i wil try to brake it down more.I can tell by
your name calling you are angery and bitter and confused(I say
confused because you said life is good, then you went on
showing your anger by calling me ignorant). You can be free
from that anger,biterness,unhappiness,confution..by Jesus
PLEASE READ THIS LETER
sorry,I did not mean to send the other letter it was not finished.
OK let me Paraphrase
They went from Beeroth,to Jakkan,to Mosera where Aaron died
in Det and in Numbers they went from Kadeh,to Hor where arron
died
Ok Beeroth is on the way to Mosera,in Josh 9:17 it mentions
them going from Beroth to to kiirjath-Jearim(which is in the
Moad desert,WHERE SOME OF THE EXODUS TOOOK
PLACE.JOS 9:17,I BELIEVE IT MENTION KIR.),Beeroth is a
place in Pal.so is Hazelroth wich Numbers does mention.
THE IS NO CONTIDICTION,BEEROTH IN THE DEFINITION
IS A PLACE IN THE DESERT,ALSO IN PAL.SO IS HAZEL
ROTH WHICH DID MENTION.BOTH IS THE SAME
LOCATION.
SO THEY WENT FROM HAZELROTH(WICH IS NEAR
BEEROTH,WHICH IS A PLACE IN THE DEAERT-WHERE i
BELIEVE THE EXODUS TOOK PLACE IN THE
DESERT)THEN THEY WENT TO MOSERA,THEN TO
JAKKAN ,THEN TO A FEW OTHER PLACES THEN TO
KADESH ,AND FROM THERE TO HOR-WHICH BY LOGIC
IS IN MOSRA AND YES I DO HAVE A MAP BUT READ
MY FLORIDIA EXAMPLE.
SO THEY WENT FROM HAZELROTH NUMBERS 33:17(IN
SAME COUNTRY, AS BEEROTH-WHICH IS A PLACE IN
THE DESERT-)
TO MOSERA NUMBERS 33:30
TO JAKKAN NUMBERS 33:31
TO KADESH
BACK MOSERA OR HOR (IMPLYING SAME PLACE)
I WOULD SUGGEST READING THE BIBLE AND THEN
GETTING BACK WITH ME.
I AM NOT SAYING THIS TO BE RUDE,IF WAS SEEING
THESE THINGS AND I DID NOT HAVE THE KNOWLADGE
I DO I WOULD THINK THE SAME THING.I UNDERSTAND
YOU PAIN,BECAUSE BEFORE I HAD JESUS I HAD PAIN
MYSELF.LET HIM TAKE IT AWAY.
JUST A QUESTION DO YOU BELIEVE IN UFOS-I AM
ASKING FOR A REASON I WILL TELL YOU IF YOU
WRITE BACK.

Note: I will not be encouraging this person to get on the
errancy list. Have we not had enough loonies on lately?
cheers,
