Oh look, here comes one of those many instances of Bible
error that Dave has never been able to deal with.
Bible error #2486B, section eighteen:
David always did what was right except for the matter
concerning Uriah.
"David did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, and
turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him
all the days of his life save only in the matter of Uriah the
Hittite." 1 Kings 15:5
VERSUS
David also sinned in numbering Israel.
"And David's heart smote him that he had numbered the
people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned
greatly in that I have done." 2 Sam. 24:10
(Do remember that this sin was so bad that God killed seventy
thousand OTHER PEOPLE as punishment. 2 Sam. 24:15)
(DAVE 6/9) Darrel: Not interested - thanks though.
DAR
Well there we have it once again. Dave likes to spout
insupportable comments like:
"Neither of you have EVER shown one thing in the Bible to be
wrong. Never." --Dave Court, 11/14,
Yet when Dave is given an example that is substantive, clear
and simple enough that even he must be able to grasp it, he won't
touch it.
AND WE ALL KNOW WHY.
What a wimp.
Then he brags to his brother that he is defeating us on this list
(specifically, "ruining Farrell's perfect record").
Remember when he falsely boasted in April:
QUOTE
(DAVE 4/7) Steve: Agreed - he [Farrell] considers me a
"worthY' opponent, and I think likes the challenge of trying to
dust me - hasn't been able to yet and he thrives on claims of
making Christians go "clippety-clop" - I am ruining his [perfect
record :)
UNQUOTE
<<DAVE
"Do I believe it happened? [Virgin birth] Yes. Absolutely.
Can I explain it or understand how it happened? No." --Dave C.
3/10
<<DAR
Yep, seems Dave certainly IS "foolish enough to take stands
on things [he is] ignorant about...".
How could be religious and do otherwise?!
(DAVE 6/8) Darrel: Being ignorant about something and not
being able to prove something are not one and the same, Darrel -
as usual, you warp the context of people's words and try to make
an argument out of it. >>
DAR
No warping required. I just quote what you say, then you self-
destruct. Taking a stand as you do above ("Do I believe it
happened? [Virgin birth] Yes. Absolutely.") when you can
neither "explain or understand how it happened" certainly seems
to fall under the category of taking a stand upon something you
are ignorant about.
DAVE
Please try again to prove your point >>
DAR
Already did that. I am quite familiar with your inability to
understand when this has happened. That's Ok. No big deal.
DAVE
- your only point here is that I cannot prove something (which I
admitted)
DAR
No. You are warping here. You take a stand on the existence
of your Yahweh but I quote where you have said: "I CANNOT
demonstrate that my God exists." (Dave C. 3/31)
You are also completely ignorant about the details of your
virgin birth belief yet you take a strong stand on it.
Exactly what you were chiding Ian for.
Seems rather hypocritical then doesn't it?
DAVE
- please show where I am ignorant about these things and, as a
result, have been "foolish enough" to support them.
DAR
"Do I believe it happened? Yes. Absolutely. Can I
explain it or understand how it happened? No." --Dave C. 3/10
Sounds like a strong stand based upon ignorance to me.
So I have already done what you ask with citations from you
provided. Two examples given. Virgin birth. Yahweh. Both of
which you foolishly support. Both of which you are ignorant of
because you cannot demonstrate in any way the one (virgin birth)
to have ever happened and the other (yahweh) to even exist. How
could one be more ignorant of something than to be so ignorant
regarding it that you cannot even demonstrate the most basic and
necessary element of existence? How could your ignorance of
yahweh be more profound than it is? How could your ignorance
of virgin births be even more profound than it is? Do elucidate.
Dave once again does not provide any substance to deal with
in his response so I will just go on to do what I love to do. Post
more, substantive examples of Bible error that Dave cannot deal
with. Could his responses possibly be anymore fluffy than they
are? I really don't see how.
Why look, here come some more "substantive examples of
Bible error that Dave cannot deal with." Actually, about two
dozen of them! He probably won't be interested, and we all know
why.

It is nice if you can print these out and place them side by

Nehemiah counts those who Nebuchadnezzar took into captivity.
Here are 23 instances in which this chapter directly contradicts
the Ezra record. Neh. 7:6-72

The other day Dave naively asks "how honest do you what me
to be?" (paraphrase). Well Dave, it would be refreshing if you
ever to a moment to be honest enough to admit a clear example
of Bible error when you are given one.
Surprise us.
cheers,
Darrel.
