STEVE CR
Chris, perhaps you could give a brief run down on the early Church and its
development? Say the post-apostolic age to about mid-second century.

UZZI
Sure. May I ask the relevance to this thread?

STEVE CR
Before the deletion, my Email ran:

RALPH NIELSEN
....in the days of Paul there was no such thing as a Bible, so how could
the
various early Xian groups know anything about what Chris calls "biblical
truth?"

UZZI, CHRIS
Really Ralph, a comment like this truly suggest, though I know it not to be
true, that you have little or no understanding of the early Church and it's
development, especially in it's doctrinal practice and passing on of
"truth" by way of oral and some written sayings.

STEVE CR
So the relevance is that I agree with Ralph's comment (above), and as you
then say 'you have little or no understanding of the early Church and its
development', I thought you could point out his fallacy by giving a brief
statement of how the early Church did in fact understand Biblical
authority.
