McDonald

I have been a cop for four years and I know of no rule or law
requiring an undercover cop to lie. Many of them do, but there is
nothing requiring them to lie. Many of them take drugs, but there is
no law requiring them to do so. In most instances if an undercover
cop doesn't lie his cover would be blown and for that reason I could
never serve as an undercover cop.

As far as being captured is concerned, you really don't know much
about the military do you? When we were in Viet-Nam we were given a
Genieva Convention Card and were instructed to say exactly this and
no more if we were captured: "My name is ___________, my rank is
_____, my social security number is _____________. In my case I
would say "My name is Jerry D. McDonald, my rank is E-2 and my social
security number is -------- (I won't give it here). We were told not
to try to outwit these people and we were specifically told not to
try to lie to them, because they would know get the truth out of us
if we talked. We were told to give our name, rank and social
security number and nothing more.
