John, I'm aware that Ge. 6:20 states "two of every sort." However, it seems the
infalible Lord realized that the carnivores would also have to eat so he had the
clean beasts and the fowls to be taken by sevens. That is, sevens (plural),
meaning seven males and seven females. At least that's the best I can do for these
'inerrant' words of God.
