Rick
Don't you get it!
It does destroy the argument of a flood!
The day I see water mound or flow uphill, I'll join a church!
This is my second day on the list. I just got home from work at
11:30pm,had 84 messages on my e-mail(more waiting), and I can't believe
the absurd lengths that fundies will go to defending a book of fairy
tales!

(DAVE 1/14) Hi Rick: Nice to "meet" you and hope you enjoy the list. I am
just "lurking" on this Noah and flood thread but came across your post and
wanted to provide you with three comments/questions: (a) you are implying by
your comments that the flood did not happen - is this the case?; (b) your
comments I believe are addressed to Ronal Baker, who is far from being a
"fundie" - he isn't even a Christian; and (c) your comments above assert
that the Bible is completely false - at least in the story department ("a
book of fairy tales") - are you saying that the stories did not occur as
written? All of them, or just some of them?

These three areas demonstrate assumptions made on your part, one of which I
can emphatically and fairly state is wrong. It will take more then
expressing your assumptions as assertions to bring light to this listing.

I would be really interested to read some of your thoughts and reasoning
behind these comments, instead of just the conclusions you have reached.

Regards, Rick.

Dave.
