What I have found on this list is that most of my notes end up as a defense
against games, trying to prod others toward a useful discussion where all
might share in their views. As you have seen, it has not been possible to
disengage the game playing; it continues with nearly every note provided to
this list by Till.
Interestingly during the time that the system was down, a friend told me
about another list at Miami Christian University where issues are discussed
better than here. Interestingly Till was also on this list.
I must admit that it was an eye opener for me on how the Christian there who
have much more experience than me in apologetics handled Till. Basically,
they called his bluff in his game playing and handed his head back to him on
a platter. As you might quess, he called quite a ruckus on that system.
Anyway, if there are some of you who are tired of a steady diet of game
playing, you might try this system, either in addition to this one or as
substitute. Below is information on subscribing there.
Because that system offers learning to me which this one does not do, I will
stay on it now that it has started up. (Note: That system also experienced
downtime coming up only yesterday again.) This will likely mean that I will
post less to this system. However, it is hard for me not to speak up when
Till and others make outrageous comments, even though I will grant that he
is a more articulate spokesman for his view, than I will ever be for mine.
As such, I cannot promise that my notes will diminish here.
In Christ,
Matthew
