They started it at 9:00 pm here and by 10 I was falling asleep so I went to
bed. Some of the speakers on each side were good and some were not. William
F. Buckley was first and by far the worst of those I heard. He sort of
mumbled most of what he said and I almost shut it off then thinking the
sound was poor which is often the case where I live. Those in favor of
evolution seemed to have a better sense of humor and did not deny the
existance of god so I think that left the creationists a little short.
Frankly I am a little amazed that Buckley, a Roman Catholic, came out on
the creationist's side since the RCC has accepted evolution.
