When Jesus expelled the moneychangers from the Temple he did not kill (or
even intend to kill) anyone. I would not call what he did "taking
revenge" against them.

If Jesus was God, and Jesus whipped them with a scourge for violating God's
temple laws,  I'd call that revenge.

Beating people with a whip for breaking your/your father's rules is not
revenge? Can you imagine this guy showing up on Bingo night at YOUR church?
As you or and your family run stripe-backed from the church, what would you
think of the man who unprovokedly beat you?
Why couldn't he just preach a sermon or something? Why did he need to resort
to violence?
