Same is true with slavery, although slavery was very common (and burtal) in the region and throughout the Roman Empire at the time. Now, why do you suppose that the King of Kings, Son of God, Lord of Man, Hope for the Hopeless was unconcerned and uninterested in slavery? Is slavery unimportant? Is it permitted for christians to keep slaves?
