Hi Ms Fitt. I agree with what you say. The story is so idiotic that the
Catholic Encyclopedia even admits it is absurd. Of course, I haven't gotten
to 1Chr. 1:32-34 as yet. It was all I could do to get through the books of
Moses. I did start Joshua but my family values aren't up to those
standards. What you were commenting on was written for Claire and her Bible
study that seems to think it was perfectly acceptable for Sarah to be taken
into Pharaoh's house as Abe's virgin sister at 65 years of age.
