If I didn't know better, I would think Matt is a contemporary of Jesus
since he knows so much about Jesus' intentions.  So Matt, is it true
that Jesus had long hair and wore sandals?

Haven't you noticed?  This is standard knowledge that biblical inerrantists
have.  They know exactly what every writer meant in every passage where
discrepancy is alleged, and so they are able to explain to us dummies what
was really meant in all of these passages.
