Ah, yes.  The level of discourse we've come to 
expect from the good Christians on this list.

I asked a very simple question of you, Mr Magill:  
What led you to conclude that the other religions 
you so disdain are false, while your brand of 
Christianity is true?  I used Mormonism as an 
example because it happened to be the first on 
your list of "errant" religions. 

Are you so incapable of answering even this 
straightforward inquiry that you have to resort to 
ad hominem attacks?  It's not a tricky question, 
Mr Magill.  And if you really think I'm such a fool, 
why didn't you post your reply to the whole list so 
everyone could see how off base I am?   

I have relatives in Utah who assure me that 
Mormonism (or LDS, as they call it) is the "one 
true church" (an exact quote).  They have a number 
of interesting traits, but "deliberate foolishness" is 
not among them.  

l also have Catholic friends who earnestly assure me 
that your type of Christianity is "heresy" (again, a direct 
quote).  I have a much beloved Buddhist friend (he's met 
the Dalai Lama, no less!) who tells me his is the path to 
enlightenment.  And I have a very sweet Pakistani friend 
who tells me that Islam is the ultimate truth.  All of them 
believe as fervently as you do.  But you can't all be right, 
can you?

So, how about answering my question?   Or maybe you've 
just admitted that you can't answer it.  If you could, you'd 
have no need to attack me, would you?
