LENNY

Oh my save me this dripple. She did much soul searching and decided to
KILL her own child. Another example of situationall ethics.

 <snipped meaningless religious phrase>

Paul Robson:

Yes, she did. So did Michael Hughes' sister, on his advice.
So did everyone in the other exclusions you & others talk
about. Yes it is situational ethics. Yes , it isn't consistent.

Yes, it is killing. People who are in favour of choice use
"Termination", those against use words like "Murder" (or
emphasise it when speaking or writing !). They are both
 playing the same game.

I think the majority of people who have abortions do soul-search
both before and after, whatever the reasons. Even in the case
of Michael's sister (foetus had no brain, would not survive) it
isn't an easy decision, I would imagine. Thoughts like "well the
tests might be wrong" would float through her head.

The image that anti-abortionists like to promote of
feckless females having abortions without concern does
occur, but it isn't the majority , it is a minority, in my
limited but personal experience. Abortion, even at a
early stage, is not a pleasant operation, and it is never
 a pleasant psychological operation.

Lenny, what do you think of (i) the Xians who bomb abortion
clinics (ii) those who picket them BTW ?
