(DAVE 4/4) Tod: Agreed. Yet, many of you clump all Christians together
based on what one person, who claims to be a Christian, might do or say.
Don't say it hasn't happened - as the above situation attests to: it would
be ridiculous to clump or stereotype all people just because of the
behaviour of some.

Examples: Posts about Mark Chapman, Jeffrey Dahmer, and of course, that old
perennial favourite, Adolf Hitler, Timothy McVeigh ........ Those who hold
these people up as Christians, and as to how Christians are, are being
ridiculous. The same goes for anyone who associates atheism with this
anonymous child who posts above as being typical - it's not.

Just a quick refresher Dave - everytime I can recall that Hitler was
brought up on this list - it was a Xian claiming he was an atheist and
that Hitler's actions are what atheism leads to...

(DAVE 4/7) Jason: Fair enough - but there have been many times he was
classified as a Christian as well. I disagree with either classification
personally.
Thanks for the reminder.

Regards.

Dave.

"The genuine Christian is one whose house is always in order. He does not
have to stampede and implore heaven in panic when he finds he is going to
die. He has only a few legal matters to settle, for as far as his
everlasting relationships are concerned he has already realistically taken
care of them. To him, the Christian message is according to reason."
