Oh that's an easy one to get around (if you're a Christian inerrantist)!

Why, of course, Jesus did it before AND after he "cleansed" the temple
(with a whip- it says in one gospel). Jesus was a whip wieldin', fig-tree
cursin' kind of dude.

He obviously had a hard time getting it through his head that you can't get
a fig from a fig tree when it is "NOT THE SEASON for figs" (Mark 11:13).

What a wise, caring, compassionate, perfect, omniscient god-man that Jesus was!

PS - Sorry, Izz- I know that the above was addressed to the Christian list
members, but since I know what their answer will probably be anyway- I
figured I'd respond. I guess this must mean that I have the Holy Spirit
living in me who revealeth these "mysteries" to me.
