This reminds me of a book I read recently: 'Stranger in the Valley of
the Kings", by Ahmed Osman, who claims that Yuya was Joseph. He
seems to make a fair case for the claim, but my background is not
sufficient to judge whether he may have strayed in the presentation.
Anyway, I did a search for other works by the same author and found
that he has a book claiming that Moses was a pharaoh : 'Moses,
Pharaoh of Egypt', is the title, I think. Is anyone familiar with
the works of Ahmed Osman?
