Well, Walt... what about JASON-dependent? You are automatically assuming
that Jason cannot make up his own mind using his own reason and intellect
and needs your guidance (or mine) to keep him away from evil influence.
This is a typical xtian polarised world-outlook. It is also insulting.
Walt, just because YOU have chosen to blindly follow the dictates of your
fanatical church, doesn't mean that everyone else has chosen a similar
lifestyle.
I am just a poster on this list, like you are. Unlike you, I welcome
knowledgable debate from the opposing xtian viewpoint, though
unfortunately, I seldom if ever have seen it. I have never seen evidence
that logical reason for accepting your religion exists. I know your Bible
really well, and am willing to discuss from it. Funny that you, Bible
thumper that you are, seem so unwilling to discuss with us the Bible,
especially since it is "your turf". You, and others like you, would love to
silence any educated opposing view. Since you cannot do it, you ignore it,
hoping it will go away. Then when your evasion, your DODGING (as RJV would
say) is made obvious, you run away claiming victory.
Unlike you, I am not leaving this list, perhaps because unlike you, I do
not feel threatened at all by what is said here by anyone.
I have pretty good rational reasons for stating what I do or do not accept
as credible. You, however, have nothing more than a self esteem problem and
vague aspirations toward arrogance that can only be "fulfilled" by blindly
adopting and adhering to a prefab archaic religious dogma, which you claim
as all encompassing truth.
Nevertheless, I will not be posting as much as usual since my busy season
is almost here. In the next month, I will go from 0 employees to 11, all
working out of my humble home, and I will be travelling all over the
country (and I'll meet some of my fellow list-people). But I will check the
postings weekly or bi-weekly, hoping that some xtian inerrantists somewhere
will have something interesting or challanging to post on this errancy
list. Somehow, I don't expect to find much.
