But this wouldn't have happened if the human body had not been "designed" by
Jerry's omni-max Yahweh so that everything that a person eats and drinks
would have to pass over the trachea. What was Yahweh thinking? Did he
flunk Design 101?
McDONALD
I won't say that I won't ever chock, but I am 43 now and I
have never done it yet (according to my mother I didn't even do it
when I was a baby). I eat at least twice a day and never think about
chocking. I eat and talk, I eat and laugh, I eat and watch TV. I
was eating when I wrote this message. I do this on a daily basis and
don't chock. We are not so poorly designed that we have to be afraid
to eat. My goodness. People eat every day all over this world
without chocking. Some do, if they eat to fast, and don't allow the
food to pass over the trachea; they will chock. Use a little common
sense when you eat.

Because Jerry has never experienced "chocking" problems proves only that
Jerry has never experienced "chocking" problems. Many people, however, do
choke on food that is sucked into their windpipes and cannot be dislodged,
so this proves that the "design" can cause serious problems. Why didn't
omni-max Yahweh know this?
McDONALD
You say that you could have designed us better. Well, you had
better know what you are doing when you go making designs of the
human body. As I have repeatedly pointed out, you don't know what
complications could arise by so much as moving the trachea away from
the glottis.
TILL
Yahweh designed chimpanzees and other primates (as well as other land
mammals) with the esophagus and trachea completely separate. The only
advantage that the human "design" confers is a wider vocalization range, but
surely omni-max Yahweh could have designed a system that would have kept the
esophagus and trachea separate but still allow for the full range of
vocalization that humans have.
