Um, my mom was Amish, and I still have some Amish relatives, so I can
make a pretty good guess at what's going on. Lots of Amish kids end
up leaving the Amish and joining the Mennonite church. The Mennonites
are still strict, but tend to be more open towards technology. Two
of my Mennonite cousins used to own a computer programming business
that they ran out of a remodeled barn!

I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that www.amish.com (I can't
reach it right now) is actually run by Mennonite friends or relatives
of the Amish.
